Sudbury Youth Basketball is a nonprofit recreational youth sports organization that runs basketball programs and teams for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade for the towns of Lincoln and Sudbury. The league runs from November through March.

Who runs SYB?

We are an unpaid, volunteer group of Sudbury parents that lead a nonprofit organization consisting of a volunteer Board of Directors who help lead the organization as well as volunteer coaches and coordinators.

SYB does not have any employees, but does pay an independent contractor (1099) to help with player registration, team placement, family communication, website maintenance, volunteer management, and scheduling. This is a year-round, remote position requiring approximately 10 to 20 hours per week from September through March and then five to eight hours between April and August.
